This vase features a sgraffito of the Wild Emperor's silhouette. The vessel was deliberately broken and then meticulously reassembled using the Japanese Kintsugi technique, with gilded cracks. Unlike paintings that partially conceal their creation process, this vessel reveals a multifaceted process of inspiration and work.
