The painting was created in autumn 2025 for Kaspar Laurenz's first solo exhibition, "Autumn Impressions," in Kitzbühel. It depicts the view from the Aurach valley through an autumnal larch forest toward the Wilder Kaiser mountain range.

The vibrant red, orange, and yellow larches stand in striking contrast to the light blue limestone massif. The interplay of the warm hues of the forest and the cool appearance of the mountain creates an intense autumnal atmosphere.
