Artlab

The Art Lab is an exhibition format organized by Galerie Benjamin Eck that brings together diverse contemporary artistic positions in a shared exhibition. At its core is the direct encounter between artists, audiences, and galleries. Rather than being selected according to a single stylistic direction, the exhibited works reflect a broad spectrum of contemporary artistic approaches and forms of expression.

As part of Art Lab in June 2026 at the Goldberg Studios in Munich, Kaspar Laurenz presented three works exploring the Alpine landscape. The exhibition featured the large-scale painting Der Wilde Kaiser No. 3/36, the small-format work Der Wilde Kaiser No. 4/36, distinguished by its intense yellow tones, and a ceramic vase finished using the Japanese Kintsugi technique.

For the works presented, Kaspar Laurenz was awarded the Art Lab 2026 Audience Award. The award also included an invitation to participate in Art Lab Autumn 2026.
